logo for PrivaSeer PrivaSeer is a search engine from Penn State's College of Information Science and Technology.  It allows users to search more than 1.4 million privacy policies housed across the Internet, with the goal of making policies "transparent, discoverable, and searchable." Type in a topic or company name in the search box to discover related privacy policies, and then use the filters in the left margin to narrow results.

   EPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, DC. EPIC was established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging privacy and civil liberties issues and to protect privacy, freedom of expression, and democratic values in the information age.

 The Electronic Frontier Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization defending civil liberties in the digital world. Founded in 1990, EFF champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through impact litigation, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and technology development. EFF's mission is to ensure that technology supports freedom, justice, and innovation for all people of the world.
