Academic Book Collections
- Open Educational Resources Used in Various Colleges and UniversitiesThese lists and links are harvested from the Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources list serve (http://cccoer.org ) conversations and a few other sources. This is a work in progress and will grow as more suggestions come in.
- Internet ArchivesInternet Archive is a non-profit digital library offering free universal access to books, movies & music, as well as 424 billion archived web pages.
California Collections
- College of the CanyonsThese books were created for College of the Canyons students. They are pdf's. If you want the editable documents of these books, please contact me and I will get them for you.
- Cool4EdThe three State of California Higher Education Systems have worked together to provide easy access to quality FREE and OPEN eTextbooks that everyone and anyone can use for teaching and learning.
- LibreTextsLibreTexts provides access to OER resources and a platform for faculty to curate and compile resources. LibreTexts is based at UC Davis.
- MERLOTMERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching provides access to curated online learning and support materials and content creation tools, led by an international community of educators, learners and researchers.
- OpenOregonBrowse or search the table below to find out what other Oregon community college and university instructors are using to reduce textbook costs in their courses. If you see a name and email address, feel free to contact that person about their class.
- Resources shared via the CCCOERThese organized by discipline and maintained by Larry Green of Lake Tahoe Community College.

- BC Campus Open EdThe project was originally asked to create a collection of open textbooks aligned with 40 subjects with the most enrollment in the BC system
- Canvas CommonsFound in your Canvas campus account, these courses are or course components can be downloaded
- Galileo Open Learning MaterialsThis source brings together open educational resources throughout the University System of Georgia, including open textbooks and ancillary materials.
- unglue.itUnglue.it is a place for individuals and institutions to join together in support of free eBooks. We work together to support authors, publishers, or other rights holders who want their eBooks to be free. We work together to provide durable and effective distribution for eBooks that are free. We support Creative Commons licensing as an enabling tool to "unglue" the eBooks. We are part of the Free eBook Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization.
