What is OneSearch?

OneSearch is Bakersfield College Library’s online search engine that allows you to find articles, books, media, newspapers, and more from a single search box. OneSearch retrieves results from the BC Library’s physical collections as well as our online resources, giving you access to a wide range of academic materials in one place.

Purpose of this Guide

This guide will provide instructions for getting the most out of OneSearch: from performing basic and advanced searches to accessing full-text materials all the way to using Boolean operators and wildcards. By learning these techniques, you’ll be able to search efficiently, find the resources you need, and save valuable time
