Women's History Month: Resources for WHAM 2021

This guide contains all the resources relating to BC's celebration of Women's History Month.

Welcome

This page contains information and resources to help you learn more about the 2021 theme for Women's History Month at BC. The theme for 2021 is COVID-19. There is a box below with information on COVID-19: general information, as well as information specific to BC and the greater Kern community.

In addition, because we are celebrating women's history month, there are some boxes that explore how COVID-19 has specifically impacted women. Many working mothers in America have been hard-hit by the new necessities of simultaneously handling childcare and working from home. As a result, this page includes information about the history of working mothers in America, current information about working mothers in America, and information on how gender roles in America have played a role in this scenario.

COVID-19 Information

This box is dedicated to providing you with resources related to COVID-19, including general information on the novel coronavirus, how to get a vaccine in Kern County, and information about BC's response to COVID-19.
