ENGL B1A: Born a Crime: Finding eBooks

For Naomi Rutuku's ENGL B1A courses

How do I access eBooks?

Searching the EBSCOhost Databases for eBooks

Under the heading Frequently Used Library Databases on the BC Library homepage, click on the red link for EBSCOhost Databases.  We discussed earlier how to select just eBook databases in EBSCOhost. Searching these collections is just like searching in any other EBSCO database.  Refer to the LibGuide on Databases if you need help with how to search a database.

From the search results, find an eBook you would like to read and click on its title.

This will take you to another information page about the eBook.  To actually open the book, you need to click on the PDF icon (sometimes you also have the option for EPUB, which will be discussed on another tab of this LibGuide) in the left-hand margin.   You can also choose to just click on the PDF or EPUB icons on the results page if you don't want to see the description before opening it.
