In the catalog you will find both print books and links to electronic books. 

 

Next, click the "Browse" link (1) at the top of the page.

On the next page, highlight the "Subject" search from the dropdown search box and search using either of the following terms:
Technical writing
Proposal writing

On the result page, click the correct subject and it will take you to a list of both electronic and physical books the library owns about that topic.  If you'd like to limit your results to just physical books in the library, click the limiter "Held by library in print" on the left side of the screen.  

 

 

Ebooks

To use the library ebook collection, on the A-Z Library Resources list click the link to EBSCO eBook Academic Collection, or use this link: Bakersfield College eBook Collection.  

For good results, try either one of these searches in
the top search box:
proposal writing in business
proposal writing in research

Or try entering technical writing in the top box and manual in the second box for results
about how to write an effective user manual.
